After looking at the article of Motor Sports in the Outdoor Zone, i'm quite interested in "driving" one of it. But the page didn't state the price. Anybody knows? |

| I heard the next K1 karting event is at Block 123 of Bukit Merah View on this Sunday. Any frens staying nearby to verify? Yes, the grand finale would be on 26 & 27 July at F1 Pit Building. It was in the news last night. |

The Grand Finale is on 26 and 27 July (Sat, Sun).
There will be these fun-karts, drift clinic, drift demos, stunt driving clinic, pit crew challenge, M-bassador Search (Race queen and race king idea) and other familiy events like colouring contest, etc. |

Kembangan K1 Karting Carnival
Date: 13 July 2008
Time: 9:00am - 3:00pm
Venue: Ubi Avenue 1 (In front of Block 326)
Nearest MRT: Eunos
Fee: $5.00 (for go-kart ride)
Karters must be:
12 years old and above
at least 1.3m in height
properly attired (strictly no slippers allowed)

Hi kokomo, when you mentioned "properly attired", what do you mean? Do we have to be dressed in proper karting suits, gloves etc?
Anyone knows where I can purchase karting apparels locally? Something cheap and good for us starters so we don't burn a hole in our pockets while enjoying go-karting! |

Hi gohkarter, "properly attired" simply refers to no slippers (to wear covered shoes for safety).
Watch out for The K1 Grand Finale, to be held at the newly built F1 Pit Building at Marina Bay, is the culmination of months of excitement built up by K1’s tour of the heartlands. On 26 and 27 July 2008, the F1 Pit Building will be transformed into a huge carnival area. This is what you can expect:
Drifting and stunt driving demos
A chance for lucky members of the public to sit in a drifting car
Go-karting on the F1 track
Supercar, dress-up car, classic car and Formula car displays
Pit Crew Challenge
M-bassador Search 2008
Tamiya Remote Control Challenge
